Today I found a special Avocent KVM page on the internet. You will find on that site a collection of resources for the IBM KVM solution (which they have OEM-ed from Avocent) including sales and marketing presentations, software, firmware and documentation. Click HERE to go there now. And if you type www.partnerpages.info/hp or www.partnerpages.info/dell instead of www.partnerpages.info/ibm you will find the other manufacturers 'special' partner page. This website is still kinda under construction I think.

On the 10th of october IBM and Emulex announced 4 fibre channel host bus adapters for System x in a PCI-X and PCI-E flavor.
In the x3650 e.g. you have 4 PCI-E slotes and if you install the PCI-X riser card you have two PCI-X slots and two PCI-E slots. Note that these Emulex adapters come in a PCI-E and/or PCI-X flavor.

Recently RDM 4.30 was released and as fanatic as we are we've installed and tested it. For now my conclusion is to stay at version 4.20.3. |

Afgelopen week met het Benelux System x team naar Leuven toegegaan om daar o.a. op Quads of in een Buggy te rijden. Jammer dat het weer niet helemaal meewerkte... Er zijn die dag wat foto's gemaakt en die staan in het fotoalbum. |
