On the 10th of october IBM and Emulex announced 4 fibre channel host bus adapters for System x in a PCI-X and PCI-E flavor.

In the x3650 e.g. you have 4 PCI-E slotes and if you install the PCI-X riser card you have two PCI-X slots and two PCI-E slots. Note that these Emulex adapters come in a PCI-E and/or PCI-X flavor.

Recently RDM 4.30 was released and as fanatic as we are we've installed and tested it.

For now my conclusion is to stay at version 4.20.3.

Talpa lanceerde zondag 1 oktober de nieuwe formule De Gouden Kooi op televisie. In de Nederlandse televisie geschiedenis is nog nooit zo veel geld geïnvesteerd in een nieuwe formule. Vanzelfsprekend zijn de verwachtingen dan ook zeer hoog. Deze formule moet net als Big Brother een lucratief exportproduct worden. Uiteraard is het nog even wachten op de kijkcijfers, maar we zijn er trots op dat IBM een partner is van Talpa´s Gouden Kooi.
