The IBM Systems Director Server Migration Utility / Tool provides functionality to migrate data from servers running the IBM Director 5.20 release to servers running the IBM Systems Director Server 6.1.0 release.
To import data to an IBM Systems Director 6.1.0 server, the server features must be updated to IBM Systems Director Core Manager service patch 2 (6.1.0.2) or greater, IBM Systems Director System x and BladeCenter Manager service patch 2 (6.1.0.2), and all other available IBM Systems Director patches at the 6.1.0.1 level or greater.
