Copaco N.V. of Eindhoven has reached an agreement regarding the takeover of the activities of McDOS International, the Nijmegen based distributor of ICT products with a strong position in the retail and MKB market. The deal is subject to approval by the Netherlands Competition Authority.
The takeover of McDOS strengthens Copaco's position in the retail and MKB sector of the Benelux and France and further expands its product portfolio with the addition of components, peripheral equipment and supplies. McDOS' strong position in this sector will enable Copaco to further expand its clientele and offers it excellent opportunities for the provision of supplementary services and products. The merging of the activities of McDOS and Copaco will create a complete entity, able to offer tailor-made solutions to the ICT, Consumer Electronics and (mobile) Telecom markets.
