From the beginning of august 2008, IBM is shipping the BladeCenter Start Now Advisor together with the BladeCenter S.

The software (approx. 330MB) can also be downloaded seperately.

Start Now Advisor Features:

• Guided setup for all components of the chassis
• Automatic discovery of the chassis over network or directly attached
• Automatic inventory of chassis and health check
• Set passwords, IP addresses all from a single spot
• Automatically update firmware to latest version for chassis components
• Set alerts automatically
• Setup Storage Zoning automatically
• Setup entire chassis in 30 minutes or less
